In a ranking of the states with the most miserable winters, Michigan was ranked number 2 (thrillist.com). Despite the recent dangerously low temperatures that swept through the Midwestern and Eastern states; many individuals and organizations displayed the warmth in their hearts by ensuring that those most vulnerable by the cold were able to keep warm. What is THAW?
THAW is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps stabilize and empower Michigan families keeping them healthy, safe and warm during our unpredictable Michigan winters. This is a relief for our seniors, disabled individuals, and low families with children who may struggle to pay their utility bills.
